Lookin for a good scratch mixer that dont cost 500 bux Whats a good low priced scatch mixer? Im gettin back into scratchin been outta the scene for a bit..... |

No dice man... The reason most scratch mixers cost so much is durability. Before picking up my Vestax 05 for about $400, i destroyed the faders on several Gemini, Numark and Stanton mixers. I guess the advantage of getting a cheap mixer that will always break is that you can replace the crossfader every month for only $20, but it won't be as smooth and you really will be breaking it that often. I'd recommend something from Vestax or Rane if you have the dough. I've beat the hell out of my Vestax and it still works like new after a full year of heavy club use 3-5 nights a week, being dropped a dozen times, and I'm still on my first crossfader after 3 years! _________________
